VanEck submitted an application for the Solana Trust (VANECK SOLANA TRUST) to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Thursday. It is to be an ETF that issues common stock and is scheduled to be listed on the Cboe BZX exchange. The trust, sponsor, SOL custodian or any other party involved will not directly or use any of the SOL held by the trust for staking or other income-generating activities Currently, subscriptions and redemptions are only made in cash form.
