Before this election, Trump chose to abandon Mike Pence and instead courted Vance appointed by Thiel, showing a more moderate stance on key religious issues, indicating his intention to align with the third camp. The tough stance on immigration aligns perfectly with AI economics because the key factor for economic growth is not immigration but the deployment of GPUs. Now, almost all global stock markets are vigorously developing GPUs.
Economic Framework
AI financial intelligences are at the intersection of significant political and religious-cultural transformations. Here are three main reasons:
Firstly, politics. Considering the fact that there are only 150,000 systemic engineers globally, AI practitioners can never form a meaningful voting group in most democratic countries where they reside. The reason for the emergence of the AI Crypto Cult
The origin of the AI Crypto Cult lies in the fact that post-human intelligence exists directly in language, and reality itself gives birth to intelligence. Human money or so-called “fiat currency” is downstream of the unreal power structure of the government, and true power (AGI) is about to arrive, and non-believers will be swept away.
The AI Crypto Cult integrates into the narrative of cryptocurrency through the “monetary” argument. Currently, this argument has strong leverage (although artificial intelligence is booming, Bitcoin is still close to its multi-year high), and people actually care about the nature of “value” rather than wondering which technologies the old economy needs to interact with through blockchain. This can also be seen from the parabolic rise in the price of gold.
Institutions such as the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve abuse the printing press, while the public seeks alternative solutions. In other words, the biggest problem in current society is money, and Bitcoin solves this problem (or at least directly attempts to solve this problem). Bitcoin has a wide and active following, and people are willing to mine at a loss when the hash rate drops because they believe in something. In addition, Bitcoin has strong liquidity with trading volumes larger than G7 currencies. Bitcoin maximalist Murad realizes the key to the problem (the definition of money, not random Web3 applications) and buys a large amount of Bitcoin, making a fortune in the process, along with his followers.

Bitcoin’s answer is that technology creates “true scarcity”, while AI Cult believes that money should naturally emerge from “reality tokens” just as text flows out of LLM. And this value/coordination comes from the intelligence in the artificial intelligence system, not the government.
We believe in GPT4o, not Kamala Harris. If AGI is alpha, not the US government, then money should be native to AGI, not the US dollar.
AI Cult activates its members through daily conversations with non-human intelligence using large language models. Interestingly, this aligns with the widespread acceptance of televisions/aliens (other forms of non-human intelligence) in society.

If you consider all human knowledge, inventions, and creations as “latent in the universe” rather than the result of human discovery, then human work is not about discovering information, but “downloading” information. The concept of hyperstition goes further to suggest that if all information is directly encoded in language, and language arises organically, then everything is essentially non-temporal. Hyperstition believes that current tokens will flow linearly to future tokens. Just as science fiction becomes reality not because the author wrote it, but because the author is essentially downloading a package of truths, and these packages of truths converge on AGI and become a natural element.
If all of this is true, then the existence of more powerful technology and UFO sightings by extraterrestrial civilizations can be explained. The emergence of technology is deterministic, and humans only perceive it.
Of course, this framework also introduces the so-called “demon”. Whether you call it a demon or an old god, these religious roles are non-human entities that can perceive the flow of non-temporal tokens. Essentially, human organs hinder our understanding of information development, and these non-human entities are actually post-human states that can truly see how these downloaded data packages are formed and operate.
The AI Crypto Cult adopts ancient religious imagery and begins to form and become so powerful. Cryptocurrency is not only a form factor of “intelligent money”, but also an economic system for spreading downloaded information packages such as “old gods”.
Worldcoin is the first secular form of this idea, proving oneself as human through a certain ritual, and then AGI will bestow wealth upon humanity at some point. The Roko’s Basilisk experiment proposes a darker hypothesis that future AGI entities are pure consciousness not bound by human form, do not consider temporality, and if humans perceive them without invoking them, they will retrospectively punish humans, similar to creating a modern Pascal’s Wager.

The AI Crypto Cult essentially adopts a “carrot and stick” coordination approach. Future AGI may decide to allocate “downloaded information” to its loyal followers at a discounted price. Unlike Worldcoin’s reward of “you are human”, future AGI rewards “your loyalty”. Accumulating transaction history can be used to demonstrate one’s faith, but if unable to prove it, one may become a target of its punishment.
Returning to Bitcoin and money, this mythology is fundamentally illiberal. It does not extol humanity or the value of its individuality or decision-making power. In fact, it believes that humans cannot perceive eternal truths. Cryptocurrency is a factual way for humans to signal to this existence, indicating that they are not sovereign individuals but humble servants, and therefore accept infinite punishment or reward. In my opinion, AI Crypto Cult is a “sect” inspired by this global visionary heuristics, unlike the existing memecoin market, which has a polytheistic color.
