The two-week ETHGlobal StarkHack hackathon, which started on June 13, 2024, concluded on the 26th and announced the list of finalists: Chain Monsters, Zap, zkPages, Solas, StarkSwirl, zKastle, and 512 Karat.
The ETHGlobal StarkHack hackathon, organized by ETHGlobal, was sponsored by the Starknet Foundation, Starkware, Cartiridge, and Voyager, with a total prize money of $150,000 for the winners.
Here are brief introductions of five winning projects:
Chain Monsters:
Chain Monsters is a decentralized turn-based RPG monster battle game where players can choose a team of monsters and engage in strategic PvP battles on a 5×8 grid. The goal of the game is to defeat the opponent’s team, with the surviving monster being the winner. Demo link: https://chain-monsters.vercel.app/
Zap:
Zap is a mobile email wallet that brings a web2-like user experience to web3/Starknet through the use of SecureEnclave, account abstraction, and TLSN proof. It aims to provide a traditional finance/Revolut-like experience for Web3/Starknet through the email wallet.
zkPages:
zkPages allows any user to create a single-page digital content store supported by Starknet smart contracts. The platform emphasizes privacy and security through zero-knowledge checkout and traceless payments. Users can easily manage their stores, upload content, and track their audit history for transparency and accountability. Four steps: 1. Create a Stark account, 2. Create a zkPages store, 3. Solas:
Solas has created a proof system on Starknet, allowing anyone to create and sign any form of proof using any type of data. Users can create their own custom schema using the architecture registry contract and prove it using the proof functionality on the startnet proof service contract. StarkSwirl:
StarkSwirl is a privacy-preserving token mixer that allows users to utilize the Starknet public chain while protecting their privacy. Demo link: https://starkswirl.vercel.app/
zKastle:
zKastle is a single-player strategy card game inspired by Palm Island. In this game, you will control a village and help it grow and thrive by strategically managing resources and upgrading infrastructure. 512 Karat:
This project uses Dojo as a full-chain generative art platform. Combined with Origami’s ERC-721 components, Dojo has proven to be a very powerful and versatile NFT delivery tool. Demo link: https://karat.collect-code.com/
