Robinhood reportedly considering launching cryptocurrency futures in the US and Europe

CoinDesk reports that individuals familiar with commission-free investing and trading platform plans have disclosed that Robinhood Markets Inc. is considering launching cryptocurrency futures in the United States and Europe in the coming months. Following its anticipated $200 million acquisition of Bitstamp next year, Robinhood aims to leverage the cryptocurrency exchange’s licenses to offer perpetual futures for Bitcoin and other tokens in Europe. The company also intends to introduce Bitcoin and Ether futures based on CME in the United States, as per Bloomberg sources.
