What is Shatterline?
Shatterline is a PC-based shooting game developed by Frag Lab and has been in early access since 2022. It is set to conclude its early access phase on August 1st and is expected to be fully released later this year.
Paley stated that discussions about integrating web3 functionalities with Frag Lab began in 2022. However, Frag Lab focused on refining the core mechanics of the game before adding new features. Paley said, “We felt it looked incredible” when referring to the early game tests. Paley also mentioned plans to release the game on the Epic Games Store.
Players can expect HV-MTL mechs to provide advantages in Shatterline’s player versus environment expedition mode and will include web3 rewards such as tradable items, as well as traditional web2 rewards.
The integration of Shatterline with HV-MTL is planned to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2024. After the initial release, Faraway plans to add more HV-MTL classes and expand into the lore of the Mara universe, featuring characters like Koda Maras and Shattered Goliaths.
