CoinWorld reported:
The smart contract platform Avalanche has launched a cryptocurrency-driven Visa card for cryptocurrency users. The card will have both physical and virtual versions, allowing cardholders to use cryptocurrencies for online and offline payments.
Avalanche is bridging traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi) with a new cryptocurrency payment system. The smart contract platform has introduced a cryptocurrency-driven Visa card that enables cardholders to directly spend their digital assets from their wallets without converting them into fiat currency.
The card will allow cardholders to make payments using digital assets such as Circle’s stablecoin USDC, WAVAX, and SAVAX at any Visa-accepting location or jurisdiction.
FineTech company Rain Liquidity will launch the Avalanche card, which is here for cryptocurrency-friendly consumption at any Visa-accepting place.
