Coin World Report:

The widespread adoption of Web3 has always been a focus of the market’s attention. For example, the Solana chain wants to stand out through the social Meme of the Blinks module, and the Ton chain wants to stand out through Telegram mini-games. Currently, the market value of the Ton public chain has entered the top 10, with more than 900 million Telegram users, and the ecosystem projects are thriving. Many TON ecosystem projects plan to use airdrops as a marketing method, providing numerous opportunities for community participants to benefit.
1. Tonsquare:
Tonsquare is the EVM L2 chain of the Ton public chain, similar to Neon (market value of $600 million) for Solana, and Aurora (market value of $200 million) for Near. The token TOS plans to airdrop 75% to node KEY holders, and the project estimates that TOS will have a market value of over $50 million.
KEY is an NFT that represents the operation nodes of the public chain. After activating the node, it can generate tokens TOS with a yield of approximately 350%. The future income of KEY also includes cross-chain bridge fees and Gas sharing of new public chains. The generated TOS can also be staked, and the staking will start at the end of June 2024 and last for 6 months with a yield of approximately 300%.
The auction model for node KEY is similar to Gala nodes and constantly increases in price. The current price is in the second phase (out of 15 phases), and it is still in the early stage. Holding more than 3 KEYs can also receive Tonsquare NFT in the test network, which requires obtaining Gas in advance on the EVM test network before proceeding with the operation. The risk is that KEY can only be purchased and not sold.
2. Hamster Kombat:
Hamster Kombat is a Tap-to-Earn game developed by a Russian team. Players can earn coins by clicking on hamsters (simulating the role of a CEO in an exchange) on their mobile screens. Players are also encouraged to unlock more rewards through community interaction and increase passive mining income by purchasing upgrade cards. Other Telegram clicker games include the already issued Notcoin (Russian team, 40 million users), Tapswap (Ukrainian team, 60 million users), Yescoin (Chinese team, 20 million users), HypeSaints, etc.
Hamster Kombat has gained popularity in third world countries and has attracted a large number of gold farmers in China. It currently has 200 million users. Considering that the first game leader in the Ton ecosystem, Notcoin, has a market value of $1.5 billion, it will be difficult for Hamster Kombat to exceed $500 million in market value. Therefore, the expected airdrop amount per account may not be high.
3. Pixelverse:
Pixelverse is a cyber-style battle game where users raise pet robots, click to fight (PVP and PVE modes), and go on adventures in different maps in the game center. Similar Telegram battle games include Majyo Treasure (85% airdrop ratio), etc. The founder is the former head of the Binance Middle East Zone. The token PIXFI plans to airdrop 25%, and interestingly, PIXFI is an ERC20 token instead of being issued on the TON chain. In the future, it will develop a Pixelchain, a game public chain based on Cosmos and EVM. Pixelverse currently has 30 million users (over 5 million daily active users) and may become a hit.
4. Pepe Wick:
Pepe Wick is a shooting game developed by a Chinese team, similar to Plants vs. Zombies. Players need to continuously spend tokens to upgrade their characters, and each character has a time limit and can only be played for half an hour each day. There are also occasional collective boss battles, and winning will reward TON from the bonus pool. However, the token PEW has an airdrop ratio of only 6%, so it is estimated to be not very lucrative.
5. Mow:
Mow is a pixel-style shooting game where players shoot monsters to get coins and upgrade weapons. The main gameplay includes passing levels and PVP battles, providing strong replayability. The project is still in the testing version, and the specific airdrop plan has not been disclosed yet.
6. Catizen:
Catizen is a Chinese team’s idle cat-raising game with gameplay similar to Match-3. Users can run a cat cafe, cultivate pets of various levels, collect their output, and then continue to cultivate higher-level pets. Users can also purchase game props to speed up pet hatching. In the future, Catizen plans to develop a Launchpool and cooperate with more than 10 WeChat mini-games to launch on the Catizen game platform. Staking the CATI token can qualify for participating in new project investments.
Catizen currently has 23 million users (over 1.5 million daily active users), and 50% of users become paying users. It generated $12 million in revenue within just 3 months of its launch (many gold farming studios have made recharges). Although the Ton official foundation has invested, the data seems too good to be true. The token CATI plans to airdrop a high ratio of 42% and has the attributes of a project investment token. The airdrop will be announced in July.
7. Chick Coop:
Chick Coop is a farming game developed by a Chinese team, where players sell eggs daily to upgrade their chicken farms. It currently has 1.5 million users (300,000 daily active users). The token CHICK plans to have an airdrop ratio of 34% and will also have NFT and staking mechanisms.
8. Travel Frog:
Travel Frog is a pet-raising game developed by a Chinese team, where players collect items while their frogs are traveling. It was transformed from a game called “Traveling Frog” in 2017. It currently has 20,000 users and is still in the testing phase. The token FROG plans to have an airdrop ratio of 70% (Travel to Earn), but it will be divided into four phases.
Other Ton ecosystem projects that may have airdrops in the future include the exchange Blum, football project Fanton, lottery platform Balaton.bet, roulette game WGScoin, fishing game Wowfish, etc. These can all be found on the growth rankings on the TGStat website.
In summary, many small game developers in the Ton ecosystem come from the familiar Web2 world. Most of them are Chinese teams, and their main goal is to attract Ton users. Therefore, before investing in airdrops on a large scale, it is recommended to carefully do research and preparation.
