While a collective sentiment among ETF analysts suggests otherwise, Anthony Sassano, a strong supporter of Ethereum, remains optimistic that the regulatory body will grant approval for the funds prior to VanEck’s deadline. Sassano further explained that the SEC had previously given the green light for Ethereum future ETF products a year ago. Therefore, it seemed reasonable to assume that the yet-to-be-approved Bitcoin ETF applicants would be able to engage in discussions with the SEC. These discussions did indeed take place when the three aforementioned parties convened with the SEC on March 9, 2023.
